By using stress management techniques, you’ll be able to keep a positive mind during quarantine, even if you’re in a place with spikes and subsequent stiff restrictions.
|Deciding to give yourself a total life makeover doesn’t mean you have to sign up for Extreme Makeover. Besides the fact that the show was cancelled in 2007 (yes, I just now realized that 10+ years later), you shouldn’t want to turn yourself into Barbie nor have a midlife crisis as inspiration to improve yourself, mentally and physically. |Trauma is defined as a "psychological, emotional response to an event or an experience that is deeply distressing or disturbing" and importantly, trauma can experience from a range of experiences. An individual may go through an event that leaves them emotionally shattered, yet this same event may not be experienced as deeply distressed or disturbed by others. Therefore, a trauma response is very unique to each individual.

As I write this, my state is in the middle of a stay-at-home order that the governor might not lift for a while. Like everyone else, my world got tipped on its side when the novel coronavirus started spreading across the globe.

It is estimated that 20 million women and 10 million men in the USA will experience an eating disorder during their lifetime.
