Note: If you don't have a bathtub, these bath bombs can still be effective in a shower. The water will help dissolve the bath bomb and release the aroma of the essential oils into the steam.
I used Lavender Essential Oil in this recipe because it is one of my favourite essential oils. Lavender EO has a soothing scent that is perfect for a spa day at home using these homemade fizzing bath bombs.
There are so many other essential oils you could use in bath bombs depending on your scent preference. For example, citrus scents like Orange and Grapefruit or earthy tones like Cedarwood and Juniper Berry would be great combinations to try out. Great idea! Have you ever tried adding gelatin to your bath water? It feels so nice and leaves your skin feeling like silk!
