|As a therapist and mental health blogger I spend a lot of time exploring the emotional aspects of peoples lives and if there is one thing I have learned from this experience it's that emotions rarely stay fixed. Our emotional landscape is always changing and may be influenced by the events in our lives, the chemistry make-up inside our brains, and so many different aspects of our lives.

|This article has been a few months in the works and is quite different from any other article I have written for my blog so far. With 7 total years of university experience, it's safe to say I have done my fair share of research for assignments and projects and although it can be a lot of work to do, I have a deep appreciation for critically analyzing data, exploring the themes that emerge, and learning from the outcomes.
|A wellness blog like the one you have just landed on is a great place to become more informed about topics focusing on mental health such as anxiety and depression or to explore strategies centered around self-care or even how to build self-compassion within yourself.
|Valentine's Day is right around the corner and February is a fantastic month to increase the passion and love in your life either towards yourself or within your relationships. Feeling connected to yourself and others is a fundamental human need, so it's okay to want a bit of romance in your life!
